Description:

No need to go to the ice cream parlor for a great-tasting root beer float! this is one do-it-yourself treat that the entire family will want to help prepare.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup sugar
1 cup boiling water
1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick® Root Beer Concentrate
1 liter soda water, chilled
1 pint vanilla ice cream

Instructions:

Prep Time: 10 minutes
1.  Combine sugar and boiling water; stir until dissolved.  Add root beer concentrate.  Chill.

2.  When ready to serve, combine root beer mixture with soda water.  Stir slowly to mix. Place 2 scoops ice cream in a tall glass.  Slowly pour root beer between ice cream and side of glass.  Serve immediately.
